About Hydroseeding
You may have seen it on the highway roadways or easements, it is that green material they have sprayed on the ground. That spray is called mulch or slurry. It is a combination of wood fibers, seeds, and fertilizers. The seed, of many options, provides the plants for the future. Fertilizers give the seed the needed boost to start off healthy and vigorous. The wood fiber mulch holds everything together binding it to the soil. The wood fiber mulch also creates a blanket to modify evaporation and hold moisture to improve the germination of the seed.
The Purpose
Hydroseeding is done to install new grass varieties to a property that has undergone construction or renovation. Bringing grass back to life with the hydroseeding process also fights erosion and soil runoff. The slurry mixture of mulch, seed, and fertilizer creates a blanket that helps hold moisture in the soil and helps to germinate the seed. With 16 years of experience, I will personally manage your project through completion.
